Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Soft Play Dessert Bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and team management, ensuring that our cafe provides exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food production and preparation. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, engaging with customers, interacting with younger children, approachable and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Supervise and lead cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting effective communication. Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness of the cafe and soft play. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Train new employees in cafe procedures, food production techniques, and customer service skills. Develop and implement promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction. Cleaning on a regular basis. Interacting and being approachable to younger children.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques is essential. Barista Experience. Experience working with younger children Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others and enhancing customer experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22,880.00-26,000.00 per year
