We're excited to launch the brand-new Flight Line Cafe, and we're looking for an Assistant Cafe Manager who's eager to step into a leadership role, take on responsibility, and grow with us.

The Role

, you'll support the General Manager in running day-to-day operations while also taking the lead when needed. You'll help drive the success of the cafe by motivating the team, ensuring smooth service, and delivering a fantastic visitor experience.

You'll be a key player in building a positive cafe culture -- balancing hands-on service with responsibility for staff, stock, and standards.

What You'll Do

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily cafe and kitchen operations. Lead shifts with confidence -- stepping up when the manager is off-site. Motivate, train, and support team members to reach their best. Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every guest leaves happy. Keep on top of stock control, ordering, and day-to-day admin. Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met. Contribute ideas for menus, service improvements, and ways to enhance the cafe experience.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader, or assistant manager in hospitality, catering, or retail. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example. A hands-on approach -- happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training can be provided). Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and daytime shifts. Ambition to progress into more senior roles within hospitality management.
