We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Manage and train kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food preparation, and production processes. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with chefs to develop seasonal menus that highlight culinary creativity while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement effective team management strategies to motivate staff and encourage professional development. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to optimise profitability.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety regulations, and food production techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by restaurant operations.
