Job Overview


As an Assistant Cafe Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating an inviting and energetic atmosphere for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. You will support the Cafe Manager in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food service and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver exceptional experiences, making every visit memorable!

What you'll do



Assist in managing daily operations, including food preparation and service, ensuring quality and efficiency. Oversee staff training and development to enhance team performance and customer service skills. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of supplies. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, for efficient cash handling and transaction processing. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards to guarantee a safe dining experience for all guests. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and shift supervision. Collaborate with the Cafe Manager on budgeting and financial planning to optimize profitability. Engage with customers to gather feedback and enhance their overall experience at the cafe.

Basic qualifications



Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Barista skills Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.

Preferred qualifications



Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles. Culinary experience with a background in food production or catering is highly desirable. Familiarity with barista duties or coffee preparation is a plus. Late Art
