Assistant Caretaker

Annual salary 26,742.74 (Payscale G4)
Permanent
11:00am - 6:00pm daily (32.5 hours/week)
Term-time plus 3 Weeks
Saturday working required on a rota basis (7:00am - 4:00pm). O/T will be paid for Saturday hours.
Start date: As soon as possible

Assistant Caretaker

to support the smooth running, safety, and maintenance of our school site. This is a key role in helping ensure our pupils learn in a safe, welcoming and well-kept environment

About you:

We are looking for:

Is enthusiastic, proactive and able to use their initiative
Has good practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance

Can work well as part of a team and communicate effectively

Is organised, trustworthy and committed to high standards

Is willing to undertake relevant training (e.g., Health & Safety, manual handling)

Takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming school environment

Is flexible and willing to support wider school needs when required
