Starting as Maternity Leave cover, this role may develop into a full time role for the right candidate.

Mathnasium is a global company with 1200 maths-only learning centres worldwide, which offers both maths help and enrichment to students through our unique combination of mental, oral, visual, tactile, and written techniques. We teach maths to children for understanding, in a way that makes sense to them! Most importantly we make maths fun and grow children's confidence.

Want to make a difference in a child's life by passing on a love for maths? We are currently seeking a Centre Manager to ensure successful centre operations, work with students to achieve mastery of maths, support parents and to train and manage a team of Instructors.

Job Overview:

Mathnasium Assistant Managers are dynamic, enthusiastic individuals, they possess the exceptional leadership and organisational skills needed to successfully work a thriving learning centre. This will be achieved by working closely with the Centre Manager to ensure teaching standards and the education of our students is world class. The Assistant Centre Manager will take a prominent role with managing the team of Maths Instructors, liaising with parents with regards to student progress and runing a tight ship with administration of the student work and folders.

Responsibilities:

Delivering educational excellence to all students. Administer Mathnasium curriculum through accurate student assessment and diagnosis to monitor and ensure continued student progression and mastery. Execute superior customer service, communicating student progress to parents regularly. To oversee staff induction, training, and continuous professional development & rota Responsibility for helping control Instructor hours and cost byt careful rota planning. To maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis purposes. Engage with the local community where possible.
Person Specification

Essential:

Previous educational experience formal or informal Proven experience in a supervisory role

Strong maths skills

and a Higher Education qualification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service focus Passion for working with students Superb organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Exemplary character, ambitious, resilient, and empathetic A meticulous eye for detail
A full-time position working a variable 25-35 hours per week across 5 days which includes one weekend day.

Training is provided.
