We're looking for a passionate and reliable

Bank Assistant Chef

to support our kitchen team in delivering delicious, nutritious meals that make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

What you'll do:

Assist the Chef/Cook in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Take charge of meal preparation and service in their absence. Prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold meals to a high standard. Cater for individual dietary needs and preferences. Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with Environmental Health regulations. Help manage stock and resources efficiently within budget

What we're looking for:

Required:

A great team player with strong communication skills. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Ability to work independently and use your own initiative. Satisfactory Police Check and PoVA list clearance.

Desired:

City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 (or working towards equivalent qualification). Previous supervisory or kitchen management experience. Experience preparing food for elderly or care home residents.
