At Little Kickers, we run engaging football classes for preschool kids aged 18 months to 8 years. Our mission is to provide a fun and positive introduction to sport in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our team at Little Kickers working at venues in Stourbridge, Dudley, Hagley, Halesowen & Kingswinford (rota basis).

In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering our unique football program that encourages children to learn through play. Your contributions will help foster a love for sports among young children while supporting their development.

Responsibilities

Assist in leading football classes for preschool children, ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere. Support the head coach in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote skill development. Foster a positive learning environment where children feel safe and encouraged. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and class experiences. Maintain equipment and ensure the safety of all participants during sessions. Collaborate with other coaches to enhance program delivery and participant engagement. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required. Have a desire to develop your skills and become a Head/ Leading Coach.

Qualifications

Experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly with young children (highly preferred). Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children and parents alike. A passion for sports and working with preschool-aged, EYFS & KS1 children. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to our coaching environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 8.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3.5 - 7 per week
