The job
The Assistant Company Secretary will provide support to the Company Secretariat team on the successful delivery of key company secretarial tasks and projects, and will have responsibility for subsidiary governance and general company secretarial matters. This will be a varied role which offers the opportunity to work with global functions across the AVEVA Group.
The Assistant Company Secretary is a key member of the Company Secretariat team which has a global responsibility for subsidiary company secretarial matters. The Company Secretariat team forms part of the wider Legal organisation, ultimately reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.
Key responsibilitiesPrincipal AccountabilitiesTo advise on company secretarial matters and answering ad hoc technical queries To provide support with global subsidiary entity management and record-keeping To provide company secretarial support on large corporate transactions and projects To assist with other company secretarial tasks as required

Ideal experienceCGI CSQS qualification or similar (part or fully qualified) Broad experience of global subsidiary governance Reliable and well organised Ability to work to deadlines and timescales, and prioritise own workload Experience working with senior stakeholders, including board members and external advisors High standard of verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail Ability to work as a team and in an individual capacity Demonstrates high ethical standards and discretion in handling confidential information Ability to speak/read Spanish preferred Experience of Microsoft Office programs and entity management systems (e.g. GEMS (Computershare))

Hybrid working
