RWDI is seeking a recent Acoustics graduate to join our Noise Acoustics and Vibration team at our Brighton office as an Assistant Consultant (Scientist/Engineer).###
Key Responsibilities
The Role Includes But Is Not Limited To
Conducting field noise and vibration measurements.
Undertaking on-site building noise and vibration measurements.
Data handling, processing and analysis.
Conducting environmental and building acoustics noise and vibration assessments.
Performing computer modelling using SoundPLAN, CadnaA, NoiseMap, Odeon and Insul.
Designing effective noise and vibration mitigation measures.
Meeting and exceeding client expectations and project milestones.
Writing clear and concise technical project reports on large and small projects.
Providing advice on technical problems and following the appropriate QA/QC Procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Candidates Should Also Possess
Excellent communication skills.
Strong people and team skills.
Proven organizational capability, decision making and coordination skills while working on a number of projects.
Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities.
An eye for detail and an innate need to get things right.
Persistence to see a job through to conclusion.
Aptitude for practical problem-solving and shrewd judgment.
Drive to continuously improve processes and enhance efficiency.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Full, clean UK driving license.
Experience in the following areas would be considered an
asset
:Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Word capabilities.
Intermediate level user of SoundPLAN, CadnaA, NoiseMap, Odeon and Insul or similar software.
Intermediate level user of AutoCAD and reading Engineering Drawings.
Intermediate level user of ArcGIS, QGIS or similar GIS package.
