Duties

Support the dietary department by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal assembly to ensure timely service Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance dining experiences, especially in fine dining settings Handle food with care, following strict food safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards Participate in food preparation and cooking activities, utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques to produce appealing dishes Contribute to food handling, serving, and catering operations, ensuring smooth operation during meal times Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold health regulations Support dietary aides and kitchen staff by performing routine tasks that streamline daily operations

Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Background in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry with a focus on culinary experience Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling practices Experience working in catering environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
