Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Participate in meal preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Contribute to menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas based on culinary trends.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. Culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards in all tasks.
