This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.



Role Purpose




This is a key role within the Credit Risk function supporting the Credit Risk Team in granting credit approvals, underwriting and helping to further build the processes and infrastructure of Credit Risk function. The role would suit individuals at the early stages of their career or those looking to accelerate their understanding of risk management. The role provides strong development opportunities in credit risk management, debt structuring and deal due diligence. The roleholder will benefit from exposure across a large variety of UTB's product areas and frequent attendance at Credit Committee.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Head of Property Credit and Credit Director in the management of the Credit Risk Team's workflow and allocation. Triage credit proposals to ensure they follow the correct approval route, and all key information has been submitted. Completion and maintenance of workflow trackers and drawdown approvals log, preparing routine and ad-hoc reporting as required. Primary Secretariat for Credit Committee including production and circulation of the agenda and papers. Attendance at Credit Committee and other Credit Risk forums and producing high quality and accurate minutes capturing all conditions of sanction. Undertake review as required in reviewing and analysing submissions to Credit Committee or Senior Credit Officers. Review due diligence on corporate and commercial loans, reviewing valuations, construction reports and ensuring conditions of sanction are met. Support the administration and ongoing development of the Credit Team's process and procedures. Support the Head of Property Credit in producing credit guidance and training for deal teams.
