About the role


The Pitt Rivers Museum seeks an Assistant Curator to help with the curation, planning and delivery of an exhibition as part of the AHRC-funded project Decolonising the Museum: Digital Repatriation of the Gaidinliu Collection from the UK to India (DiMuse), due to open in October 2026. As part of the PRM exhibition team, the you will work on the exhibition's design and delivery using your specific knowledge to help guide interpretation.

This is a fixed-term post for 1 year, working part time for 18.25 hours per week

About You


The role will require specialist knowledge of the history, cultures and social contexts of the Indian subcontinent and how these can be sensitively addressed in an exhibition setting.
