The Role:
We are currently seeking a hands-on, ambitious, and sales-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team in Warwick. This position presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Depot Manager and play a significant role in our ongoing growth and success.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in the Plant, Tool, or Access hire industry is essential.
Success in prospecting and sourcing new customers.
A genuine passion for providing clients with the best advice and service.
Must possess confidence, reliability, and ambition.
Experience in managing staff.
Experience in Health and Safety policies and practice.

Depot Operations Management:
Identify new business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.
Focus on maximising depot performance.
Supervise and co-ordinate daily depot activities.
Plan and schedule equipment to optimise availability and utilisation.
Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety standards.
Monitor and manage inventory, replenishing stock as needed.
Collaborate closely with and support other depots.
Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional service both in-person and through phone or email.
Assist customers in selecting equipment and tools suited to their requirements.
Respond to enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Staff Supervision and Training
Recruit, train, and mentor depot staff.
Promote a positive and motivated work environment to enhance productivity and teamwork.
Health and Safety:
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with protocols.
Provide safety training to all staff and monitor adherence to guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:
Coordinate maintenance and repair to ensure all equipment is in optimal condition ready for hire.
Hours of work: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5.00pm.
