Role Summary




We're looking for a creative and commercially minded designer to join our Accessories


team. This role is all about driving trend-led product development and ensuring our


ranges are fresh, relevant, and aligned with the Fat Face brand.







Role Responsibilities


Research and interpret seasonal trends through competitor analysis, market
visits, and customer insights to identify opportunities for the brand.
Create inspiring trend boards and design concepts that guide product
development and deliver a cohesive, commercially viable range.
Contribute to product strategy by providing insights on competitor activity,
market direction, and customer preferences.
Support the development of products from concept to launch, ensuring designs
reflect key trends while meeting commercial objectives.
Collaborate closely with buying teams and suppliers to bring ideas to life and
maintain strong relationships throughout the development process.



Assistant Designer - Jewellery





Sensitivity: General


Monitor market activity and supplier innovation to keep designs fresh and
relevant.
Champion the brand's social and environmental mission in all aspects of design
and development.
Provide admin support and deputise for the Designer when required. Proven design experience with a strong eye for trends and commerciality. Previous experience in accessoriesis essential, with an understanding of range
building.


Degree or equivalent in a design-based subject. Strong presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate (or similar design systems). Excellent communication and influencing skills to collaborate across teams. Strong planning and organisation skills to manage multiple projects. Align self to companies social and environmental mission and champion any actions that you can directly impact at all times'





Skills and Experience





Proven design experience with a strong eye for trends and commerciality. Previous experience in accessoriesis essential, with an understanding of range

Design Timelines

: Ensuring tasks related to design, sampling, and approvals are
completed within the set critical path deadlines.

: Managing the organization, storage, and presentation of
samples for design meetings and approvals.



Design Assets and Materials



Fabric, Trim, and Colour Libraries

: Maintaining and utilizing resources to support
innovative and brand-aligned product development.

Mood Boards and Trend Boards

: Accountable for curating and presenting visuals that
communicate the seasonal direction.



Collaboration Tools and Reports



PLM System and Documentation

: Ensuring all design-related updates and files are
accurately recorded and maintained in internal systems.

Feedback Loops

: Gathering input from tech sessions, sales reports, and team
discussions to refine designs.
