Introducing an exciting opportunity to join Frankham Projects as Assistant Development Surveyor.
Responsibilities
Identifying new opportunities by conducting research and networking.
Carrying out initial site due diligence to assess development potential and key constraints.
Compiling comparable cost and sales data to support development appraisals and market analysis.
Experience in preparing/supporting development viability assessments.
Interpreting data from various sources.
Support in undertaking evidence-based studies (such as residential and care need assessments, employment land reviews, green belt studies, infrastructure assessments).
Assisting with the promotion of strategic land opportunities.
Maintaining an active diary management system for key deadlines for Local Government consultations to ensure clients are actively promoting land and made aware.
Input into the preparation of Development Consent Orders and associated documentation.
Preparation of strategy and policy documents and preparation of area-based plans (such as masterplans and supplementary planning documents).
Reviewing design options, layouts and technical documents to optimise development outcomes.
Support in drawing up, presenting and negotiating competitive proposals.
Supporting the team on advising clients on the availability of finance and the feasibility of planning permission.
Assisting with providing valuations and advising clients about the provision of finance for commercial and residential developments.
Supporting the development management team with other development management and research tasks which ensure the effective delivery of projects.
Assisting with managing projects, from the earliest planning stages through to completion.
Support in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Assisting with drafting client briefing notes and board reports.
Support in the production and management of development programmes.
Support in the production and management of development risk registers.
About You
Be enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and adaptive to ensure efficient project delivery.
Ability to clearly communicate to a high standard both orally and in written form.
Hold a full UK driving license (preferred).
