Assistant Digital Merchandising Manager

41,000 - 46,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6A)

12-month fixed term contract / secondment



We're looking for an Assistant Digital Merchandising Manager to join us and support the successful delivery of our food digital merchandising strategy. As the UK's number one convenience retailer, we're giving shoppers more ways to engage with our brand and products online, and you'll be key to making sure we can provide our members and customers with the products they love.


In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering category and partner strategies across our partner websites. You'll work closely with both senior internal and external partners so we can land strategic growth projects right first time and in a safe and legal way. We'll also look to you to collaborate with our partner and suppliers, as well as our ecommerce operational teams, to make sure we deliver product, range, price, and promotions effectively and accurately. What you'll do

Manage the range process on our partner website, making sure that all content, media, and navigation achieve optimum storefront health Achieve sales and profit targets by platform Be responsible for product availability and merchandising our website accordingly Manage on site activity and promotional plans to enhance the online customer journey Build relationships with key internal partners across the business to regularly improve the online shopping experience Optimise search engine performance to drive sales and conversion working with our partners to do so

This role would suit people who have

Strong ecommerce or digital merchandising experience The ability to build relationships cross-functionally and with senior business leader both internally and externally Commercial experience and the ability to manage a P&L and margins on our websites Experience using Excel to an intermediate level The ability to contribute to strategy, think strategically and support our vision for the medium and long term
