We are looking for an Assistant Test & Commissioning Engineer ideally with experience or exposure of the Rail sector specifically Ops Comms and help ensure the successful delivery of the test & commissioning elements of project delivery. You will be involved in test & commissioning activities ensuring they are performed efficiently and as safely as possible, to the customer\'s satisfaction and in line with contract requirements across England.

What you\'ll do:

• Be involved in the testing elements of a multi site project, working closely with other Engineers.
• Gain an understanding of pass / fail criteria & results requirements before undertaking the testing.
• Produce & Collate test results in the format required by the PICOT..
• Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and any test leads are fit for purpose.
• Gain excellent knowledge and understanding of new equipment and technology installed on the Network Rail infrastructure and Legacy equipment, networks and cables installed on the Network Rail infrastructure

Who you are:

You will ideally have some previous experience of working as a Test & Commissioning Engineer within the Rail sector and ideally have an awareness or interest in Ops Comms, along with some Station Comms experience.

Key requirements:

• Some experience of the telecoms equipment\'s and networks in use on the Network Rail infrastructure (Fibre testing, DNS Testing, Copper, CCTV)
• Some knowledge of CISCO, legacy telecoms equipment\'s and networks on Network Rail infrastructure
• Ideally an understanding of Network Rail Group, Line and FTN Standards
