Wellspring Academy Trust are seeking a passionate and highly motivated colleague to join our talented and hardworking team as Assistant Estates Manager supporting our Academies in the wider Lincolnshire region.


This is a key position, essential to the smooth, efficient, and sustainable running of our academies. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic professional to make a meaningful impact within a thriving academy environment.


The Assistant Estates Manager will join a successful team that enjoys a strong, harmonious culture and positive relationship with colleagues within the region and Trust-wide. The post-holder will be part of a thriving team that leads a comprehensive site services team, delivering a safe, secure learning and working environments.


The location of the role is showing as Beacon Academy, although that is a central point in our East Region, this role will involve travelling across the region and will be based centrally to best suit our schools needs.

Being proactive and able to operative and respond to the long term strategic and operational development of the estate within a strategic planning framework is paramount.


The Assistant Estates Manager will work alongside the Estates Manager (East), Trust Estates Manager and the wider Operational team including the Head of Services, Director of Operations and in partnership with the Director of Capital & ICT and Trust Operations Manager.



Excellent communication skills are required, as the successful candidate will liaise frequently with key stakeholders including Academy Principals, Project Managers and Contractors.



As Assistant Estates Manager, you will have:

Personal integrity and a commitment to the Nolan principles of public service. Experience in estates and facilities management. Experience of managing a team and planning staffing resources. An understanding of financial management and budgets. Experience in project management and managing contractors. Experience of Health and Safety and statutory compliance matters. Excellent relational skills, building rapport and enjoying influence with a variety of stakeholders. Effective problem solving and decision making skills, exercising professional initiative and the ability to think creativity to help resolve complex issues. A commitment to professional development.
