Job Description

Executive Office Department serves as a central hub for coordination, providing support to the Bank's management team, driving the execution of key decisions, facilitating the implementation of strategy, raising the Bank's image and profile. As an Assistant Events - Mandarin Speaking, you will work closely with the Head of Executive Office department and the team for the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK) to foster collaboration between China and the UK. You will be responsible for promoting shared goals and ensuring the successful delivery of BOC and CCCUK events to the highest standards. This is full time permanent position.

Key responsibilities



Plan and organise all events from concept to completion, ensuring all events operate smoothly and efficiently Prepare all events documentation, schedules, and assignments Complete interviews to know the functions and business process of the events Provide logistics support for all events Prepare correspondence (external and internal) such as letters, reports, agendas, newsletters, meeting materials and minutes Prepare documents in English and/or Chinese and provide translation as requested Control budget for the events and verify invoices File accurate and up-to-date records for all events Maximise event feedback rate and collate the information to establish speaker scores, speaker feedback, sponsor feedback and scope for future event improvements Maintain excellent communication with other teams within the department and allocate work in accordance with the specific requirements from different departments Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department and team leader

Requirements



Degree educated in Banking, Marketing, Business or Finance Relevant experience in General Administration Experience in Marketing support and general office administration is preferred Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills Detail oriented Able to work in a fast paced environment Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Team player who is able to work independently
