We're looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager who's ready to take the next step in their career.



Based on the site, you'll be the key point of contact for local customers, helping to deliver consistent service and ensure everything runs smoothly.


You'll supervise and support the on-site teams, making sure work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.



Working closely with the Regional Facilities Manager, you'll help drive service delivery, manage schedules, oversee compliance and support with training and development.

Key Responsibilities


Support the contract management team with service solution systems, identifying and implementing service improvements Lead workforce planning, including rostering, recruitment, training, and development to meet contractual requirements Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, audits, SOPs, and risk documentation Manage frontline performance through effective supervision, 1-2-1s, appraisals, and succession planning Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring correct logging and resolution procedures are followed Drive commercial performance by controlling costs, identifying additional revenue opportunities, and supporting mobilisation activities Maintain compliance across all HR, operational and statutory areas, including completion of Management PPM tasks

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


Facilities Management experience, ideally within a hard FM environment Familiarity with CAFM systems desirable Basic understanding of hard FM services and operations Proven leadership experience within a facilities or operational setting Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and service lines Excellent communication and organisational abilities
