Summary

Due to continued development of the team we are seeking an individual to come and join our busy operations team. This is a hands-on role, where you will assist in managing crop production, harvest and overall farm resource management. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can assist in smooth daily operations, effectively lead and support farm teams, and drive operational efficiency across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the continued success of a progressive farming enterprise.

Responsibility

Manage day-to-day farm operations, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting activities. Supervise seasonal staff, providing training and support to ensure efficient workflows. Maintain equipment and machinery used in the farming process. Monitor crop health and implement pest management strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm. Coordinate logistics for the packing and distribution of daffodil stems.

Requirements

Proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations. Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, particularly in flower production. Ability to lead a diverse team effectively during peak seasons. Basic mathematical skills for managing budgets and resources. Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is preferred.
