We currently have an Assistant Finance Manager vacancy for an ambitious individual that is interested in progressing their careers in NHS finance This individual should have some experience within a busy management accounts function and / or should be close to achieving their accountancy qualification. They should be able to demonstrate strong communication/ interpersonal and management skills supervising one member of staff.
Main duties of the job
This post will work along with the Finance Manager and be responsible for a range of services within the Pathology division within the Trust. This post is responsible for preparing and posting the major journals ensuring the month end is accurate working closely with the finance manager. The post-holder will be expected to work within the Divisional Finance Team to deliver high quality financial information and advice for the South West London Pathology (SWLP). SWLP is a partnership and provide pathology services for St Georges, Epsom & St Helier, Croydon and Kingston NHS Hospitals. SWLP is hosted by St Georges.

  • NVQ - Level 4, or AAT - Technician level, or NEBS - Level 3, or HNC, or Diploma (eg IPPM), or completion of the second stage of a professional qualification or experience indicated below

  • Good level of competence in basic Excel, Word and Outlook
