Hexcel is currently seeking a Assistant Financial Accountant for our Duxford, UK location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:Tracking and reporting of fixed asset for Duxford and Leicester sites Understanding and reporting for UK and BE VAT registrations, including intrastat declarations Assisting external accountants with preparation of AT and DE VAT information Management accounts/budgets for 3 Asia Pacific sales offices Assisting with foreign exchange reporting for USD and EUR exposures Balance sheet reconciliations Organisation of Leicester statutory audit Prepare reporting in US GAAP lease accounting for capital and operating leases Performing month end tasks Provide cover in the finance team based in Duxford and Maintain the financial integrity of the accounting data

Qualifications:Educated to graduate level Suitable professional qualification or working towards - ACCA/CIMA/ACA Willingness to learn new skills Excellent communication and team working skills Highly motivated Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel High level of Numeracy and Literacy Good organizational skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 an advantage Fluent English language skills essential
