Summary:

Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state-of-the-art processing site with great facilities in Eye, Suffolk. We have an opportunity for an

Assistant Financial Accountant

to join the finance team.

Shift pattern:

Monday- Friday 08.00 -17.00

Duties and responsibilities

:

Purchase ledger and associated work two days a week and reporting/adherence of and to.

Close off the purchase ledger, balance intercompany accounts and statement reconciliations each financial period along with any other monthly tasks required.

Monthly Environmental reporting.

Assist in the production of weekly management accounts.

Ensure Brexit paperwork and proceedures adhered to.

Attendance at Quarterly stocktakes as and when required.

Promote a culture of rigorous financial control and assist with improvements to processes and procedures

Assist in production of annual budget.

Provide data insight and analysis

Essential Qualifications:

Studying for CIMA or ACCA

Strong Excel skills

Good communicator

Motivated and able to prioritise demanding workloads

Capable of working on confidential and sensitive issues with discretion

AAT part-qualified, ledger accounting experience

Desirable:

Worked in manufacturing environment

Experience of ERP system

Pay and Benefits:
