to join our finance team at our Maidstone hospital. Reporting to the Financial Accounts Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, efficient, and timely financial support across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Financial Accounts Manager in preparing accurate
monthly management accounts
and
financial reports
within agreed timescales.
Support the
year-end accounts
process and
annual audit
preparation.
Prepare
accruals, prepayments
, and
departmental P&L reports
.
Produce
accurate reconciliations
(including PMI, GRNI, online bookings, and stock control).
Maintain the
fixed asset register
, ensuring depreciation is correctly calculated.
Provide financial support and ad hoc reporting to
Business Partners
and assist with
budget meetings
.
Support the
Purchase Ledger
and
Junior Assistant Accountant
as required, including invoice entry, queries, and filing.
Contribute to
cost-saving initiatives
and process improvements within Finance.
Undertake any other finance-related duties as directed by the Financial Accounts Manager or Head of Finance.
About You

Studied or studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Qualifications
Minimum of
5 GCSEs (or equivalent)
including
Maths and English
(essential).
