Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to support financial operations and reporting within the engineering sector. The role is based in Birmingham and requires a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and organisational policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Manage accounts reconciliation and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Oversee the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in audits and ensure all required documentation is prepared and available.
A successful Assistant Financial Controller should have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation processes.
- A competitive daily rate of 350 per day
