Position Overview:

As an Assistant Fund Accountant, you\'ll play a crucial role in supporting the accurate and timely management of investment funds\' financial operations. Your contributions will be integral to the success of the client\'s funds and most importantly your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and review of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and financial statements for various investment funds.
  • Collaborating with senior fund accountants to reconcile and analyse fund transactions, positions, and cash flows.
  • Maintaining accurate and organised financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Participating in the preparation of investor reports and regulatory filings.
  • Engaging with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and team projects.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices in fund accounting.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in finance, investment funds, and fund accounting.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
