The Role

We are currently hiring an Assistant General Manager to help lead operations at Second Bridge. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth nightly operations, excellent customer service, and a safe, vibrant environment for both staff and guests. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and strong leadership skills.?

Key Responsibilities

Manage front-of-house activity, including ticketing, queuing systems, and bar service Supervise and motivate bar staff, security, and floor teams during events Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and venue procedures Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally Coordinate with promoters, DJs, and performers to ensure seamless events Oversee crowd management and ensure guest safety throughout the night Monitor venue cleanliness and report maintenance needs Support promotional efforts by working with marketing to drive event attendance and sales Respond to emergency situations and follow incident protocols Handle cash operations, POS systems, and financial reporting during shifts

Requirements

Enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Experience in hospitality, nightlife, or live event management Strong leadership and communication skills Good appreciation of licensing laws and safety standards Calm under pressure with a problem-solving mindset Ability to work late hours, most weekends, and some holidays
