Position Summary
Working alongside the Taproom Manager, FOH, Kitchen and Head Office team, the ideal candidate will show a passion and enthusiasm for all things hospitality and a desire to progress into a General Manager role. The day to day running of all aspects of the business will be required including guest, team and contractor relationships, cleanliness and service standards and of course supporting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest relationships - including booking system management and overall customer satisfaction ensuring high standards are maintained.
Lead & Inspire - Build, motivate, drive and develop a high-performing team with a focus on hospitality and service excellence.
Team Development - Using training manuals and experience to train and develop the team in various aspects of the role to the company standards.
Venue standards and cleanliness - Maintaining high cleanliness standards across all FOH and BOH areas, ensuring set up and close checklists are completed and delegation of tasks.
Guardian of the perfect shift - All aspects of the guests experience to be maintained to company standards including lighting, music and temperature of the venue alongside proper preparation to ensure the business is operating smoothly.
Key performance indicators - Assisting the General Manager in delivering both venue and individual KPI's to the required company standard with a quarterly review on results with the Operations Manager.
Essential Skills:
Minimum 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
An enthusiastic, engaging and resilient personality with a 'Can Do' attitude
Strong team management and leadership skills
Proven casual dining experience
Familiarity with bartending and beverage service in a similar environment
Demonstrated passion for the industry.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Workforce, Square and Sevenrooms platforms
Food Safety Level 2
Foundation beer knowledge
Foundation cellar knowledge
Personal license (alcohol)
First aid qualification
