Assistant General Manager | Grounded Cafe Bar | Bedminster

Grounded is a small independent business that prides itself on serving Bristol and Wiltshire some of the best coffee and amazing food in warm and comfortable surroundings.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to assist the general manager in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess passion, strong leadership skills and a warm hospitable personality .

You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of food and service inorder to give all of our guests a great memorable experience. This role requires a hands-on approach and a versatile person that enjoys the variety that this role will demand. From firing up some exciting food, serving barista style coffee, greet and serve the guests, marketing events, looking after the financials and most importantly creating a welcoming environment for our teams and guests alike.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or bar environment.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Ability to multi task, work in an organised an efficient manner.

Strong communication skills.

Bags of passion and fresh ideas to help grow the business and develop the team.

Someone that is seeking to make a big impact in a small business and be willing to put in the work to grow with us.

The position might suit a hungry assistant manager that is looking to step in their first general manager role.
