The Forge & Fern is an award winning hugely popular cafe, bar & restaurant based in Staple Hill, East Bristol. Recently voted winner of both best restaurant and best new business at the Bristol Life awards 2023, we take extreme pride in being one of the cities most popular venues.
We are looking for a new Assistant general manager to drive the business to success and upkeep our high operating standards at our Cafe restaurant in Staple Hill Bristol. This is an ideal role for an ambitious hospitality manager who has realistic aspirations of taking charge of their own site in the next 12 months.
Prior management experience in a fast paced, full table service restaurant, hotel, bar or cafe is required to be considered for this role.
You must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of: Cocktail bar tending, barista coffee, craft beer & artisan spirit knowledge alongside general bar & cellar day to day duties
Package
Total package 34-37k (13.50-14 per hour basic)
Gratuities Tronc (realistic est of 4-5k)
Christmas Day & Boxing day off!
Work trips abroad (Italy & South of France visited in last 12 months)
Epic staff parties.
44-46 hour week (over time available but not encouraged)
