General Manager- Central South Coast - Catering

Shelleys Bakery is a unique, independent family bakery being both traditional and progressive, who run our own shops, markets, events, outside catering and more. We have developed a wonderful and successful business based on time served methods of production with fabulous variety, quantity, quality and value for money items. We couple this with second to none customer service.

Due to continued expansion and demand with a further retail outlet imminently opening, we need a further Assistan General Manager to help oversee and run all areas of the sales side of the business. This is not to exclude involvement in production but primarily the role will be retail orientated. In order to be successful and relevant to the position you must have the following characteristics and experience

1/. Sales and commercial business experience

2/. Customer service orientated

3/. Profit and loss understanding in a catering environment

3/. Positive attitude

4/. Be able to work and lead independently and as part of a team

5/. Ability to train and teach others to do what you do

6/. Be available to work long hours, physically fit, work Saturdays and early starts

7/. Be adaptable and able to multi task

8/. Be able to manage a million turnover business efficiently and profitably

9/. Have 5health, safety and food handling certificates and be First Aid trained
10/. Be willing to learn and commit to all areas of the business as needed. (Training will be provided where appropriate)
