When Civerinos started out, Mr C wanted to create the kind of place you could hang out with family and friends. A cool, independent, family-owned neighbourhood pizza bar based on his time in NYC and nod to his Italian roots.

The journey so far has been incredible. Staying true to Nonna's own recipes and throwing in some NYC attitude (that nonna would have backhanded for), Civerinos has been serving New York, Italian street to Edinburgh for the last 9 years and now we are dedicated to bringing that same authenticity to Glasgow and beyond.

The Position:

Assistant Manager



Working with your GM you are going to set the bar for standards and be the best mentor and leader for your team.

Working closely with the General manager, some of your responsibilities will include:



Provide our guests with the best Customer services possible. Along with the general manager you are accountable for the running of the business day to day Working with your kitchen you will be responsible for all food and kitchen compliance Compiling with all monday admin deadlines Managing site payroll Managing all site related HR issues and escalating to ops when required Responsible for the full journey of new and existing team members Spot talent and develop to get the best out of your team Maintain a positive and inclusive team culture. Ensure all cost controls are managed in line with budget Take an active role to ensure social media content is being generated on site Seek out opportunities to enhance the customer experience Seek out opportunities to grow and develop your business Hosting and managing events
What you'll bring:

Experience in high volume restaurants Experience in working in a multifaceted venue Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales A positive and inclusive attitude A people focused approach to the business, putting team and customers at the forefront A forward thinking attitude to hospitality
