We are excited to welcome a dynamic and driven Assistant Manager to our Jetts Gyms Rothwell team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our gym facility, maintain exceptional member experiences, and lead a team of dedicated fitness professionals.
Responsibilities:
Operations Oversight:
Support the General Manager in supervising daily gym operations, encompassing staff management, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and members by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Optimise resources including facilities, equipment, and supplies to enhance operational efficiency and member satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development:
Collaborate with the General Manager to recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team, including trainers, receptionists, and maintenance staff.
Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to nurture individual and team growth.
Foster a collaborative work culture that reflects professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional service.
Enhancing Customer Experience:
Assist in establishing and sustaining exceptional customer service standards, ensuring members receive personalised support.
Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and effectively, striving for their utmost satisfaction.
Contribute to strategies that boost member engagement, loyalty, and overall gym experience.
Sales and Marketing Support:
Work closely with the marketing team to execute sales and promotional initiatives aimed at attracting new members and retaining existing ones.
Assist in monitoring membership sales and revenue targets, analysing performance data, and implementing corrective measures.
Participate in community outreach efforts to enhance gym visibility and services.
Financial Management:
Collaborate with the General Manager to prepare and manage the gym's budget, meeting financial goals and controlling expenses.
Contribute to financial analysis and identify opportunities for revenue growth while implementing prudent cost-saving measures.
Maintain accurate financial records and relevant data.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a fitness or wellness industry managerial role.
Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and developing a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interactions with members, staff, and external partners.
Demonstrated customer service orientation, reflecting a genuine passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.
Sound understanding of gym operations, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with gym management software and MS Office suite.
Adeptness in sales and marketing strategies, contributing to membership growth and revenue enhancement.
Financial acumen involving budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
