Assistant General Manager - Energy, Excellence & Hospitality
We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant General Manager to support the leadership of a distinctive London restaurant. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark in a unique setting, where creativity, craft, and warm hospitality come together.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the General Manager to oversee the smooth running of daily service.
Lead and inspire the front of house team, ensuring exceptional guest experience at all times.
Maintain and develop operational standards that reflect the character and ethos of the restaurant.
Manage bookings, floor operations, and guest relations with efficiency and professionalism.
Support with financial management, including stock control, labour costs, and GP targets.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or Senior Manager in a high-profile restaurant.
A genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to deliver warm, confident, and attentive service.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on motivating and developing a team.
Excellent organisational and financial acumen.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining consistency and professionalism.
