Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for cocktails and service, and a comprehensive understanding of bar management. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high drinks standards, and supporting the general management to achieve operational excellence. The Assistant General Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and driving the success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily bar operations, cash ups, lockups, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service. Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee and partake in bar service ensuring quality and consistency in all drinks served. Monitor drink safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Support in training new staff members and ongoing development of existing team members. Assist with inventory control, ordering, and maintaining stock levels. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. collaborate with other team members on new drink ideas. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the premises, adhering to hygiene standards.

Requirements

advanced experience in a cocktail heavy environments. Strong background in drink and menu development, Knowledge of products and Experience in typical managerial roles, cashing up, placing orders, locking up, etc. Previous experience in hospitality management or as an assistant general manager is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.
