The Alberts Deli is a busy, well-loved independent deli in Richmond, and we're looking for an
Assistant General Manager
to help run the day-to-day operation.
This is a
hands-on, floor-based role
, ideal for someone with hospitality management or senior supervisor experience who enjoys leading a team, keeping standards high, and making sure service runs smoothly.
The role includes:
Supporting the owner in the day-to-day running of the deli
Leading shifts and being the senior person on site when required
Supporting FOH and kitchen teams during service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and service
Assisting with rotas, staff communication and basic stock awareness
Ensuring a great customer experience, every day
We're looking for someone who:
Has hospitality management / supervisor experience
Is calm, organised and reliable
Is comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions
Enjoys working in a small, independent business
Leads by example and communicates clearly
