Join the Clothiers Arms, a sister pub to the Old Fox in Coaley, as an Assistant General Manager and play a pivotal role in the pubs future.

This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about pubs and has a strong background in the industry.

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing staff, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in daily operational tasks and decision-making processes. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards. Manage inventory levels and coordinate food production to meet customer demand. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Skills

Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills. Previous Assistant General Manager experience is preferred. Ability to serve customers effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
