Job Description

Our expanding Garden Centre business is seeking an Assistant Graphic Designer/ Website Content Manager and administrator to assist within our marketing and maintenance department. This role is based at our Newton Abbot garden centre and will involve travel to our other garden centres around the South West. This is a full time position focused on our annual marketing campaign and product branding and our maintenance and development plans to help push the company forward.

The main roles would be:



Website content management and development Produce website graphics Design and produce our weekly Garden Centre Point of Sale Catalogue artwork and design for garden plants, horticultural dry goods and Christmas products Produce video and social media graphics Manage Company social media platforms alongside our advertising campaign Other marketing projects to promote the business Other duties as required to help run the business as one of the key members of our head office team Administrate our fleet vehicles including arranging MOT's and services Adhoc purchasing for the maintenance team Other administration to support the office
The role would suit applicants who want to be fully committed to the company and can actively impact the success of the business as part of our larger management team. This is a full time position working alongside our experienced department head.

This position is mainly located at our Newton Abbot site just outside of town. There is no ability to work from home.

Skills required for this position:



Must be an experienced user of the Adobe Creative Suite Package Must have demonstratable experience of creativity & design flair Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office Must have a good understanding of IT software and programmes Preferable: Knowledge of Website Development / Wordpress Great knowledge and experience of Marketing and Social Media advertising Ability to be flexible on work duties to aid the running of the business Good levels of English - both spoken and written

Details of this role:



35+ hours per week Holiday is pro rata based on days worked - approx. 28 days The role will be supported by full on-site training by our office managers and marketing manager We can offer between 31,000 and 35,000 depending on your experience and suitability.
