Assistant Greenkeeper
Job Description
Caldwell Golf Club, established in 1903, is situated 15 miles South West of Glasgow. This premium parkland course originally designed by former Open Champion Willie Fernie and later redesigned by 5 time Open Champion James Braid hosts an excellent venue that is challenging for all levels of play.
The vacancy for a Greenkeeper has arisen and is an excellent opportunity to join a hardworking and committed team.
Applicants will, as a minimum, be expected to demonstrate a proven track record of the following:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
- 3 years minimum experience
- PA1, PA6 Spraying Certificates
- Carry out work in accordance to Health and Safety guidelines
- Good knowledge of modern turf machinery
- Team player and self motivated with excellent work ethic
It would be an advantage but not essential to have:
- NVQ Level 3
- PA2 Spraying Certificate
- NPTC Chainsaw Licence

Pay: 24,420.00-27,000.00 per year
