The Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure is seeking an

Assistant Harbours Security Manager

to play a vital role in safeguarding our island's port facilities. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of international maritime security, implementing and maintaining robust security measures in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code and the Isle of Man Maritime Security Act 1995. You'll work alongside the Harbour Security Manager, providing day-to-day leadership of our port security operations, and will serve as the Deputy Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), gaining valuable experience in this critical international maritime security function.


As part of a close-knit, professional team, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders including the Isle of Man Constabulary, Customs, and Immigration services, whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of our security protocols and procedures. We offer comprehensive training, including a fully-funded, Department for Transport (UK) approved PFSO course and Radiation Protection Supervisor qualification. This role provides excellent scope for professional development within a supportive environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and security of our island's maritime operations.
