Assistant Head of Hospitality

to support our growing hospitality team and help deliver an outstanding customer experience across our three unique food and drink outlets.

The Role



As one of two Assistant Heads of Hospitality, you'll work closely with our Head of Hospitality to oversee the daily running of front-of-house operations. From managing the team and supporting service to ensuring smooth communication with the kitchen, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests know and love.

With three food and drink spaces and unique offerings -- each with its own character and customer base -- this is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong organisation, leadership, and adaptability.

This is a hands-on position where your passion for great service, people management, and attention to detail will shine. You'll be a visible, motivating presence on the floor, leading by example and helping to shape the guest experience at every point.

Key Responsibilities



Ensure smooth, consistent communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams Deliver excellent customer service across all areas, handling feedback with professionalism and care Lead daily briefings, allocate team duties, and ensure service runs efficiently Mentor and support team members to grow in confidence and capability Manage ordering and stock control for front-of-house, liaising with suppliers to ensure availability, quality, and cost control Work closely with other departments to support events and seasonal initiatives Proactively seek ways to enhance the customer journey and align with our brand values

About You



Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role Interested in seasonal Scottish food and drink A natural leader with excellent communication and people skills Highly organised and confident, managing multiple service areas Calm under pressure and solutions-focused Experience with stock control and supplier management is a plus Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences Enthusiastic, reliable, and a team player
