Assistant Head Sommelier - Upper Floor Restaurant

5 Hertford Street is the beautifully appointed private member's club owned and operated by entrepreneur Robin Birley; located in the heart of Mayfair. Our aim is to be a home away from home, in the utmost comfort, where members are looked after by a team who know them by name.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Head Sommelier to join our Upper Floor Restaurant team.

The responsibilities of the

Assistant Head Sommelier

are:

To create a seamless journey & outstanding wine experience for our members Support the Head Sommelier with managing the Sommelier team, ensuring they are trained to Company standard To work well under pressure in a fast pace environment and ensure a high quality service

The Experience & Qualifications required as

Assistant Head Sommelier

are:

Significant experience in a similar position is essential Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member's club advantageous Qualified to a WSET L3 preferred

The working hours:

The working hours for this role are on a rota basis with shifts falling between Monday - Saturday. The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year
