Springfield Junior School

is part of the Children's Endeavour Trust which totals eight schools across Stowmarket and Ipswich. This is an exciting time to join our trust as the schools work collaboratively together to achieve excellence and improve outcomes for our children. Springfield is a popular three-form entry junior school to the west of the town centre teaching children from age 7 to 11.


Our recent Ofsted report (March 2025) rated the school as good in all areas and noted that 'staff are proud to work at this school. They feel well supported around their workload and wellbeing and appreciate the training and support they are given to develop in their roles'. Children feel safe and we are proud that we are a happy school at the heart of the community. We deliver an ambitious and rigorous curriculum through CUSP as well as being a 'Gold Award' OPAL school to develop the quality of outdoor play. We are committed to providing an inclusive learning experience for our diverse cohort of children and we are now looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to join our friendly school.
