Assistant Headteacher (AHT) - Lead on Curriculum and Assessment, Teaching and Learning
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to lead curriculum development and assessment across the school as well as develop teaching and learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for a

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing development of the whole-school curriculum
Oversee assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform teaching approaches
Support staff in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
Analyse assessment data to identify areas for improvement and celebrate success
Collaborate closely with senior leaders, staff, pupils, and parents to maintain our high standards
Promote a culture of continuous professional development within the team through meetings, coaching and sharing good practice
Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial classroom experience
Proven leadership experience in curriculum development and assessment
Strong understanding of primary education frameworks and statutory requirements
Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils alike
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills

Experience of working within a collaborative team ethos
