Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, organised, creative and inspirational teacher with excellent primary experience to join our Senior Leadership Team, working alongside our Headteacher in the further development of our school.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate;
a genuine interest in children and a passion for learning
very high expectations of behaviour and attainment of all children
highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and organise others
significant experience as an excellent primary practitioner and role model, with particular strengths in either Foundation Stage, KS1 or KS2
a proven contribution to raising standards through effective leadership in a significant curriculum area
clear evidence of impact on an area of school improvement
a desire to make a substantial contribution to the future success of our school!
The person appointed will be innovative, highly motivated and committed to life-long learning and continuous improvement. They must consistently demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and excellent teaching, being a role model to colleagues. High expectations of themselves, children and colleagues and an ability to inspire, enthuse, challenge and support are essential.
As well as their class teaching and subject leadership responsibility, the post holder will be required to lead the area of the School Improvement Plan focusing on Teaching and Learning.
