Job Title: Assistant Hospitality Manager

Hours and Availability: 12-20 hours a week, requires flexible hours including evenings,

Remuneration: 14,000 per annum
Reports to: Head of Hospitality
Reports: Junior Manage, CFO
Key relationships: Senior leadership team and Directors, Fan and Community Engagement
Officer, Commercial Manager, Club Volunteers, Hospitality suppliers.

Purpose of the job
? Operations - Assist in the planning and delivery of exceptional care and service for
our fans.
? Co-managing and shift leading Lewes FC's matchday hospitality, food outlets and
bars.
? Innovation - Planning and Preparation of Lewes FC's bar and catering outside of
matchday, assisting the Head of Hospitality in organising events, programmes and
initiatives that open the door to our local community.
? Standards - Delivery of a distinctive and high-quality food and beverage offering for
our fans and community, working closely with partners and other local suppliers to
champion knowledge of our supplier's products and giving customers a high level of
service and hospitality not seen before at sporting events.

Role and Responsibilities
Assist in the running of day-to-day operations
? Running shifts as required, temporarily undertaking the role of responsible person,
as key point of contact for colleagues and customers.
? Ordering stock supplies as necessary, undertake stock-takes and controls in
accordance with licensing requirements.
? Maintain relationships with suppliers.
? Work to budgets, targets, and forecasts set out by the Head of Hospitality.
Manage hospitality staff
? Assist with the training of staff on specific tasks and building competency within the
team.
? Assist with the organisation and allocation of shifts including bar work, catering and
turnstile operators.
? Assist with compiling the weekly statement of business, detailing staff hours worked,
and sales figures.
Identify great public and private events and community activity
? Identify new community groups to collaborate with on joint activity and events
? Identify opportunities to host events and generate additional revenue in line with
targets.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
? Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (Essential)
? Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering
? 1 year's relevant experience in hospitality (Essential)
? A passion and understanding of customer service.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office.
? A self-starter with innovative ideas and a problem-solving attitude.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and get on with diverse
groups of people.
? Willingness to work to budgets and ambition to exceed sales targets
