Assistant Land Surveyor

to join our busy site teams.

This role is all about

supporting our surveyors on site

, you'll be the extra pair of hands (and eyes) that help keep projects running smoothly. From loading kit and setting up equipment to working alongside experienced surveyors in rivers, lakes, and floodplains, you'll play a crucial part in the action. No two days are the same, one week you could be wading in rivers, the next helping measure topographic features on land.

What you'll do:

Support Senior and Surveyors on site with surveys across the UK Handle and set up equipment safely (after training) Assist with river, still water, and topographic surveys Work outdoors in all weathers (this isn't a desk job!) Help with logistics such as loading/unloading vehicles and equipment

What we're looking for:

A hardy, outdoorsy type who doesn't mind mud, rain, or long days on site Physically fit and comfortable working in (and sometimes on) water A team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn Previous work experience essential (ideally outdoors - farming, construction, forestry, landscaping, etc.) Able to work away from home during the week Full clean driving licence Based within easy reach of Shipston-on-Stour (CV36) Fluent English speaker and confident swimmer
